Pidigan, officially the Municipality of Pidigan (Ilocano: Ili ti Pidigan, Filipino: Bayan ng Pidigan), is a municipality in the province of Abra in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) of the Philippines. The population was 12,185 at the 2015 census.[3] In the 2016 electoral roll, it had 7,980 registered voters.[4]

Geography

Pidigan is located at 17°34′N 120°35′E / 17.57°N 120.59°E / 17.57; 120.59.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the municipality has a land area of 49.15 square kilometres (18.98 sq mi)[2] constituting 1.18% of the 4,165.25-square-kilometre- (1,608.21 sq mi) total area of Abra.

Bringas Ancestral House Ruins The house of former municipal mayor Jeremias Bringas.
