Picnic at Hanging Rock is an Australian television drama series screening on Foxtel's Showcase channel in Australia in 2017. [1] The series was adapted by from the 1967 novel of the same name by Joan Lindsay. The series is written by Beatrix Christian and Alice Addison, produced by Ewan Burnett and directed by Larysa Kondracki, Michael Rymer and Amanda Brotchie. Filming commenced in February 2017 at Labassa, Caulfield; Mandeville Hall, Toorak; Rippon Lea, Elsternwick and Werribee mansion as well as Lysterfield Park.
