Phoenix Equity Partners is a United Kingdom mid-market private equity firm.

Phoenix manages funds exceeding £900 million on behalf of leading institutions and other investors from around the world. Phoenix is active in a range of sectors, in particular: financial services, industrials, leisure and retail, media, and business services.

Phoenix Equity Partners was established in March 2001. The firm's six founders previously worked within Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's European private equity team.

The group has had major stakes in a variety of businesses including Jimmy Choo,[1] ASCO, Palletways and LK Bennett.

In April 2006, Phoenix Equity Partners was named "Private Equity House of the Year" at the Real Deals/BVCA Awards.[2] Phoenix also claimed the "Mid-Market Deal of the Year" award for its sale of Covenant Healthcare to Electra Partners Europe.[3]
