Philippines at major beauty pageants

The following is a list of Philippines' official representatives and their placements at the Big Four international beauty pageants, considered the most important in the world. The country has won in all four pageants with a total of 13 victories:

• Three — Miss Universe crowns (1969 • 1973 • 2015)
• One — Miss World crown (2013)
• Six — Miss International crowns (1964 • 1970 • 1979 • 2005 • 2013 • 2016)
• Three — Miss Earth crowns (2008 • 2014 • 2015)

The Philippine franchise holders of the four major beauty pageants are the following:

• Stella Marquez-Araneta's Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. has the franchises for both Miss Universe^[1] and Miss International.^[2]
• Ramon Monzon and Lorraine Schuck's tandem of Miss Philippines Earth's Carousel Productions, Inc. has Miss Earth.^[3]
• Arnold Vegafria has the franchise for Miss World.^[4]

The criteria for the Big Four inclusion are based on specific standards such as the pageant's global prominence and prestige approved by worldwide media; the quality and quantity of crowned delegates recognized by international franchisees and pageant aficionados; the winner's post pageant activities; the pageant's longevity, consistency, and history; the sincerity of the pageant's specific cause, platform, and advocacy; the overall pre-pageant activities, production quality and global telecast; the enormity of internet traffic; and the extent of popularity amongst pageant fans across the globe.

In 2013, the Philippines won two of the Big 4 crowns: Miss World, Miss International. Also in 2015, the Philippines again won two of the Big 4 crown: Miss Universe, Miss Earth. In just a span of 3 years, the Philippines claimed all the Big 4 crowns.
