Philip Kgosana

Philip Kgosana (1936 – 20 April 2017)[1] was a leader of the Pan Africanist Congress in South Africa, known for leading a march on 30 March 1960 in which 30 000 protestors opposing the country's pass laws marched from Langa to Cape Town, in one of the largest anti-apartheid demonstrations to take place in Cape Town.[2]

He died of cancer on 20 April 2017.[3]
