Phenacosaurus vanzolinii is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae (anoles).
Etymology
The specific name, vanzolinii, is in honor of Brazilian herpetologist (and samba composer) Paulo Vanzolini.[2]
Geographic range
P. vanzolinii is found in Ecuador.[1]
