Petru Cărare (born February 13, 1935, Zaim) is a writer from Moldova.

Petru Cărare was born to Profir Cărare and Naejda Duca. He was forbidden to publish in the 1970.[1] He translated Ivan Krylov, Stepan Oleinik, Samuil Marshak, Rasul Gamzatov, Sebastian Brant, Gianni Rodari, François Villon works.[2]
