Petey Scalzo was an American boxer from Brooklyn, New York. He fought Frankie Covelli for the National Boxing Association World featherweight title at Griffith Stadium and beat him by TKO. He defended the National Boxing Association World featherweight title six times before losing to Julie Kogon. He fought Phil Zwick for the National Boxing Association World featherweight title and beat him by decision. After his boxing career ended, Scalzo refereed boxing matches.
