Peter Wegner (Australian artist)

Peter Wegner (born 1953, New Zealand) is a Melbourne based figurative painter, sculptor, and draughtsman. Wegner’s awards include the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize in 2006, the Gallipoli Prize in 2013 and is a four-time finalist in the Archibald Prize.[1]

Wegner’s work is held in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, Art Gallery of New South Wales as well as the State Library of Victoria.[2]
