Biography

Peter was strongly influenced by the musical background of his father and started to work on an impressive record collection at the age of 15.

After his first try-out behind the decks in Leuven (BE) he was immediately rewarded with a residency. Silo, one of the better underground clubs in Belgium for over 10 years, became his outlet for many years to come. He also worked at Cirao and club Extreme.

Following his festival performance at the first edition of House Torhout (Belgium's first outdoor dance festival), Peter was offered the closing slot at the Main Stage of the 2002 Cityparade in Liège (BE). Peter played one of those memorable "few in a lifetime"-sets. S few weeks later, he represented Belgium at the Nature One Festival in Germany. In November that same year he was booked at the I Love Techno indoor festival, warming the floor for international guests Timo Maas, Remy, Anthony Pappa, and The Youngsters as well as for the Belgian brothers The FilterHeadz.

Not even after a year he became the resident at the "E-motionz"-parties taking place at the quality clubs Silo (Leuven), Café d'Anvers (Antwerp) and Fuse (Brussels. Danny Howells was one of the first to be invited on these well-attended parties. Other guests included Fabrice Lig, Jamie Anderson, John Digweed, Dubfire (Deep Dish) and Sasha.

In 2005 and 2006, Peter was the driving force behind the "On The Decks" party series where he put a Belgian DJ in the spotlight with each new session.

In 2005, he started "Novak & Therm" and "Mayan" as his two studio projects.

Peter died 19 February 2008 in Brussels. His ashes were scattered at the cemetery of Tienen (BE)
