Peter Daut (born September 18, 1983) is an American journalist. He is an anchor and reporter at KCBS-TV & KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. He was born in Torrance, California, grew up in Placentia and graduated from El Dorado High School. Daut then attended the University of Southern California, and graduated cum laude with double degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. He also minored in Spanish.[1]
Prior to joining the nation's largest local television duopoly in September 2014, Daut anchored at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina.[2] He also worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor at KDFW-TV in Dallas, Texas.
He has received numerous awards for his reporting, including two Emmys.[3]
