Peter Adolf Persson (September 25, 1862–January 15, 1914) was a Swedish painter known for his Skane landscapes.

Biography

Persson was born September 25, 1862 in Kvistofa. He studied at the Art Academy in Stockholm from 1882–86, and in Suresnes, west of Paris from 1889-1890.[1] His painting Jour d'automne was represented in the 1890 Paris Salon.

Noted for his local Skane landscapes and a mural in the Malmo grammar school, his work is represented in the Nationalmuseum,[2] Malmo Museum,[1] Helsingborg,[1] and Landskrona museums, and the Lund University Art Museum.

He died January 15, 1914 in Tyrin-giving.[1]
