"Personally" is a US hit song recorded by American singer-songwriter Karla Bonoff. It was released in 1982 as the first single from the album Wild Heart of the Young. The song was written by Paul Kelly and had also been covered by Jackie Moore in 1978. She reached number 92 on the US R&B chart.

"Personally" was written in 1973 by Paul Kelly, and he originally recorded it with Gene Page. However, the song was never released. It was later covered by Z. Z. Hill. Kelly again recorded "Personally" on his 1993 album Gonna Stick and Stay.

Bonoff's version of the song spent 18 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 12 on Cash Box.[1] It did not chart in Canada or internationally. Billboard ranked "Personally" as the 60th biggest hit of 1982.[2]
