Perry Suckling (born 12 October 1965[1] in Leyton) is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper and is currently Academy and Goalkeeping coach at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. During his career, Suckling was a brilliant keeper who was held in high regard with other clubs.
Coaching career
Starting his coaching career at Leyton orient and England women's Goalkeeping coach, he quickly became a popular name in the coaching world and it wasn't long until a big team came calling. That team in early 2000 was Tottenham Hotspur. He was appointed the youth Goalkeeping coach and during his 15 year stay was instrumental in bringing through the successful youth players for Spurs, players including Kane, Ryan, Carroll, Caulker, Townsend and many more. In 2015 he was appointed Academy Manager at Queens Park Rangers[2], he stayed in this post for two seasons before deciding in making the switch back to Spurs in 2017 to becom the academy and Goalkeeping coach. Suckling has been describe as a Huge figure in the coaching world and is held in high regard.
