Pentaria brevicornis (Pronunciation: Pen-tah-rhee-a breh-vee-korn-iss) is a species of ant-like beetles of the family Scraptiidae that lives in Cape Verde.[1] The species was described by Wollaston in 1867.[1] Its scientific name means "short horn". Its English name may be the short horned antlike beetle or the Cape Verdean short horned antlike beetles.
