Plot
Mordecai and Rigby are having a staring contest when they're supposed to be washing a car, and Rigby tries desperately to get Mordecai to blink, even using a red laser pointer. Mordecai claims that's not fair but Rigby defends "Street rules, man!" Benson sees what they're doing and yells at them to get back to work; but Benson turns his back for two seconds and Mordecai and Rigby are back to their game. Benson gets frustrated, and then he sees a television commercial about security surveillance systems to keep slacking employees in check; inspired by this, he orders "level 1 or Mooch Masher" from the system, Peeps. He places a camera in front of Mordecai and Rigby to keep them working; yet, soon they try but fail to trick Benson by placing an unconvincing drawing of them working so they can continue their staring game. This gets Benson to purchase "level 2/Slack Pack", by making Mordecai and Rigby wear belts with wrestlers around them to watch their every move; even so, he humiliates them in front of Margaret. When Benson and Pops watch Mordecai and Rigby doing dishes, they go into the kitchen to award them with a pizza coupon, only to find that the dishes aren't done and that the slackers turned the cameras toward the TV playing a video of the "1982 Dishwashing Competition" in order to go into their rooms and continue their staring contest. Benson nearly goes off the edge when he gets "level 3/Bum Blitz", where he places all the cameras everywhere in the whole park and look at what Mordecai and Rigby is doing. It looks like it works, and since Mordecai and Rigby really want to go back to their staring game, they sabotage him by spilling coffee over Benson's system and therefore destroying it; this finally makes Benson reach some point of insanity, and he orders the highest upgrade from Peeps, "level 4" (aka. Jeepers Peepers X-Infinity), which is a giant, floating eyeball named Peeps. Not only does Peeps watch Mordecai and Rigby, he also watches Pops taking a shower, Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost watching monster truck races, Skips working, and even Benson. in short, Peeps has creeped out everybody, so Benson tries to get rid of Peeps under the orders of everyone else, but Peeps remains because Benson signed the contract that lets him keep Peeps until he dies. Hearing this infuriates Benson, who shreds the contract. Mordecai and Rigby decide to settle it with a staring contest. the stipulations are as follows: if Peeps wins, then he will remove everyone's eyeballs and keep them; but if the park wins, then Peeps goes and never comes back.
Mordecai is chosen as Peeps' opponent, and after two days, Mordecai and Peeps' eyes are tired. Peeps tries to intimidate Mordecai by using his ability to produce more eyeballs (which disgusts Benson and makes him almost throw up). To help Mordecai win, Rigby uses his laser pointer to burn all of Peeps' many eyes, leaving only his gigantic main eye left. After much anticipation, Peeps blinks, making Mordecai the winner. Peeps, in much pain, says "You know that really wasn't regulation" Then Rigby casually replies "Street rules, man". Before lasering Peeps who runs into the lake and nearly drowns, so the park had to call an ambulance to save Peeps. When Peeps is rescued, he says "all i see is darkness", hinting that he can no longer see. The park workers celebrate their victory and Benson promises not to go too far with watching Mordecai and Rigby not slacking off. Mordecai confesses that he can't blink anymore. He asks for eyedrops, which Rigby hands him, but the eyedrops evaporate as soon as they touch Mordecai's eyes. Mordecai then asks the others to take him to the hospital, and the episode ends.
