Barangay Peñafrancia is one of the 27 Barangay of the City of Naga in Camarines Sur Bicol Region of the Philippines.

Location

Barangay Peñafrancia is an Urban Area. It is bounded in the North by Barangay San Felipe, in the South by Barangay San Francisco, in the West by Barangay Liboton and Barangay Bagumbayan Sur and in the East by Barangay Dayangdang.

Topography

The total land area of Barangay Peñafrancia is .3757 square kilometer .48 % as to Naga City total land area. It is 98% plain and 2% sloping.

The type of soil in Barangay Peñafrancia is Pili Clay Loam. The residential area has 0.0559 square kilometer or 14.88%, the institutional area has 0.013 square kilometer or 3.46%, the commercial are has 0.2896 square kilometer or 77.08% and the remaining 0.0172 square kilometer or 4.58% occupies the river.

Hydrography

The only water way in the area is the Naga River.
