Patricio Buenrostro Gilhuys

Patricio Buenrostro Gilhuys (born in Mexico City) is a Mexican artist. He has worked as a film director, music video director, and visual artist. He currently defines himself as a "creative futurist".

He obtained his B.F.A. at the Academy of Art University[1] in San Francisco, California.

By the time he was 25, his work had been shown in 15 group and solo art shows in Mexico City, San Francisco, New York City, and various galleries around Europe.

Buenrostro started his career in Mexico City directing short films, working in advertising and in digital animation projects. He moved to Guadalajara, Mexico in December 2008, where he was the Director of the Digital Animation major at the University of Digital Arts. Later he became Director of the Animation major and the Digital Arts major at CEDIM in Monterrey. He currently lives in Mexico City.
