Patricia Jabbeh Wesley
Patricia Jabbeh Wesley PhD is an Associate Professor of English at Pennsylvania State University and a Liberian writer who have written five books of poetry.[1] Wesley’s children's book “In Monrovia, the River Visits the Sea,” was published by One Moore Book Publishers in 2015. Wesley is an award winning poet.[2] She started writing at an early age and credits her father who “was very supportive of her work but was concerned that[3], being female, someday she would have to give up writing in order to tend to her family.” She has four children. Wesley attended the University of Liberia for her undergraduate degree, before her graduate studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, for her master’s degree in English.
