Party is a multi-starrer Indian film in Tamil language, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and has tagline as A Venkat Prabhu Hangover. The movie is produced by T. Siva under his production banner Amma Creations.[1][2][3]

Party, the multi-starrer film is entirely filmed in Fiji islands.[4][5] Venkat Prabhu decided to use Premgi Amaren as music director of this movie replacing his usual Yuvan Shankar Raja.[6][7] In an interview, Kayal Chandran has said that, Party film shooting is like going to excursion and the director is handling the big star cast with ease.[8] First look of the film is revealed uniquely by displaying actors names in alcohol bottles.[9] Rajesh Yadav is handling cinematography and Praveen KL is handling editing for this movie.[10] Stunut Silva is signed as stunt choregrapher for this movie.[11]
