Parth Samthaan (b. 11 March 1991) is an Indian model and television actor. He is best known for his work in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan popular youth show as Manik Malhotra opposite Niti Taylor. 

Career

Parth started his career as first runner up in Pantaloon Fresh Face 2012. He has done a few television commercials for popular brands like Close-Up along side Lauren Gottlieb. Coke , Classmate , Kriti jewellers during his modelling days .He has also worked in television shows.

Early in his career, he worked in episodic series like Life OK's Savdhaan India, MTV India's crime series Webbed, UTV Bindass's Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. He got his first lead role as Prithvi Sanyal in Channel V's Best Friends Forever?.

He was last seen as Male Lead of MTV popular youth show Kaisi yeh Yaariyan alongside, Niti Taylor ( Season 1 & 2). His angry young man portrayal as Manik Malhotra, in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, has garnered him huge popularity and fan following on social media. This show has made him a youth icon. Due to immense popularity of his character [1] and massive trending from his fans, Parth was brought back and his character was reinstated in Season-2.[2] Apart from acting, he sings as well.

He is well active on social media through his social accounts like Instagram: @the_parthsamthaan, Twitter: @Laghateparth, In Dec 2015, He was declared highest placed newcomer (11th position) in top 50 Sexiest Asian Men list of UK based Eastern Eye newspaper.[3][4][5]

Parth has signed his first Bollywood debut, Googly Ho Gayi . Apart from this Parth has also signed up for two more movies, details about which are yet not revealed.[6]

According to the interviews and articles, he will be seen opposite actress Poonam Kaur, in this film Googly Ho Gayi.[7] Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab will be seen in significant roles as well .[8][9]

The inauguration of the film was held on his 25th birthday, 11 March 2016 at Juhu Hotel with open invitation to everyone.[10][11][12][12][13][14][15] Parth has done playback singing for his second song Jind Meri for this film Googly ho gayi.[16][17] Lokesh Bhatta, Sajid Bubere, Navin Prabhakar, Archana Puran Singh, Satish Kaushik , Saurabh Shukla, Vijay Raj are part of this project as well. Produced by 3’S Creation under Sonali & Subhash Singh, this movie is written by Raj Shandilya, and will be directed by Ali Shah[18]

He was featured in a music video 'TU JO KAHE' that crossed 7.5 million views in YouTube in a few weeks of its release. launched on 22nd April,2017 along side anmol Malik, which was composed by palash muchhal.
