Parakala is a town in Warangal (rural) district of the Indian state of Telangana.[2]
Corruption
Recently, a whistleblower parent from Parkal, Gundeboina Ravi, successfully helped unearth the scam involved in Eamcet-2 running up to Crores of Rupees.[3]

Civic administration
Parkal Nagar Panchayat was constituted in 2011 and has 20 election wards. The jurisdiction of the civic body is spread over an area of 16.13 km2 (6.23 sq mi).[1]
Transport
Parkal is well connected through road network. This is major town in Warangal rural district. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation runs buses from Parkal to various destinations.
