Pargi is a village in Vikarabad district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Parigi mandal of Vikarabad revenue division.[1]
Geography
Pargi is located at 17°11′00″N 77°53′00″E / 17.1833°N 77.8833°E.[2] It has an average elevation of about 526 m (1,726 ft) It is located 67 km from Hyderabad. It doesn't have good water resources and dependent completely on ground water. People do farming mainly on ground water. The soil is black which is good for agriculture and the major crops are Cotton, Maize, Jowar. There are many mango groves in and around the Headquarters. Milk production is also a major source of income here. There are four Milk Chilling Centres in Pargi, Mother Dairy, Reliance, Tirumala and Jersey.
