Parides phaleucas is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. It is found in Ecuador and Peru.
Parides phalaecus has a spatulate tail. The body is very hairy and the white band, which traverses both wings, is intersected by black veins.
There are two subspecies.
- P. p. phalaecus Ecuador
- P. p. nieva Möhn, 1999 in Butterflies of the World 8: 1, pl. 1, f. 1-4, type locality: Rio Nieva, 2500-3000m, Amazonas, N.Peru.
