Parashor Barma
Parashor Barma is a fictional detective charecter made by Bengali writer Premendra Mitra. First Parashor story is Goyenda Kobi Parashor (Detective Poet Parashor) was published in 1932.[1]
Charecter
Although Parashor is a detective but he always tries to be a poet. Parashor never identifies himself as an investigator. The storyteller, journalist Krittibas Bhadra is the friend of Parashor. According to Krittibas, Parashar is moody, jovial, little eccentric but very intelligent. He can solve the serious mystery while reading his nonsense poems.[2]
