Papua New Guinean Australians are Australian citizens of Papua New Guinean ancestry or Papua New Guinea-born people who reside in Australia. According to the 2011 Census, there were 15,460 people of Papua New Guinean descent in Australia and 26,787 Papua New Guinea-born people residing in the country at the moment of the census.
