Pant (surname)
Pant or Panta/Pantha (Hindi: पंत) (Nepali: पन्त/पन्थ) are a group of surnames which are prevalent in India and Nepal. Panta were part of Thar Ghar(थर घर) aristocracy which assisted the rulers of Gorkha Kingdom.[1]
