Pandey
Pandey (Hindi: पाण्डेय), Pande (Nepali: पाण्डे वा पाँडे) is a surname found among the communities of India and both Bahun and Chhetri communities of Nepal. Pande of Nepal belonged to Thar Ghar aristocracy group which assisted the rulers of Gorkha Kingdom.[1] Deshpande and other variations of this surname, ending in "-pande", are found in the Deccan region of India.
