Pakri Barawan is a Sub-Divisional town in the Nawada District of the Indian state of Bihar .

Geography

Pakribarawan is located at 25°01′N 85°38′E / 25.01°N 85.63°E / 25.01; 85.63 on Nawada-Jamui SH-8, 22 km from Nawada town. It comprises two Gram Panchayats: Pakribarawan Uttari (North) and Pakribarawan Dakshini (South).

The market consists of big and small merchants mostly visited by farmers from nearby villages.A famous tasty sweat, named Wara(Bara) is prepared only in Pakri_Barawan.
