The Pagidipalli (Bibinagar)–Nallapadu section[1] is a non-electrified single track railway section in Guntur railway division of South Central Railway.[2][3]

History

The Guntur-Macherla section was opened in 1930. A new railway line from Bibinagar to Nadikudi was started in 1974 and foundation stone was laid by then Prime minister of India Smt.Indira Gandhi on 7 April1974 and opened for traffic in 1989 there by making connectivity between Guntur Junction and Secunderabad Junction. [4]

Route

This route starts from Pagidipalli and passes through Nadikudi, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla and joins Nallapadu near Guntur.[2]
