Rashmi Paboda Sandeepani, (born in January 16, 1982 as රශ්මි පබෝධා සන්දීපනී [Sinhala]) is a Sri Lankan actress in Sri Lankan cinema and television.
Background
Her mother Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, is an award winning actress in Sri Lanka in both television, theatre and cinema. Her niece Rathna Lalani Jayakody and Sampath Tennekoon are also renowned dramaticians in Sri Lanka.
Paboda entered the film industry at a very young age because of her mother. She has acted in feature films and in tele-dramas. Her first cinematic role came in 2000, with an uncredited role in Sanda Yahanata. She gained attention for the film Bahu bhootayo in which she played an female antagonist.
The tele-dramas Isuru Bawana, Anantha in which she acted were popular in among the public.
