Owen J. Roberts School District
The Owen J. Roberts School District is a school district located in northern Chester County, Pennsylvania. The school district comprises five elementary schools, one middle school, and a high school. The student population for the entire district is around 4,800 students. The current school tax rate is 26.82 mills.
The school district, which is located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, covers an area of 110 square miles (280 km2) in 9 townships. In 2010 the district completed construction on a newly renovated middle school and a new elementary school.
The district consists of the elementary schools East Vincent, West Vincent, North Coventry, East Coventry, and French Creek. The middle and high schools are named after the district, both named Owen J. Roberts.
The district is known for controversially planning to add a Domino's to the East Coventry cafeteria. The idea was scrapped after numerous complaints by parents.
