Otulu is a community in Oru West local government area of Imo State, Nigeria. Otulu has eight hamlets, namely:

While Otulu (Oru) has been divided into two autonomous community (Otulu and Umuhu-Umuezem) which amongst them have 16 villages. Otulu is an ancient kingdom with a population of about 5028 people living in it.

Ogwugwu is the name of the village deity, and deities of this name are found in many parts of Igboland. The people of Otulu have a large market called Afo Otulu. The community has two popular churches namely; Catholic and Anglican. They have one secondary School, Commercial Secondary School Otulu built by the community in the early eighties. There is one government owned primary school-(Otulu Primary school And many other private schools. A huge number of Otulu people are university graduates - Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Accountants, Teachers, Reverend Fathers, Reverend Sisters, Civil Servants, Business men, and petty traders. Like all other Igbo people, Otulu men and women are very industrious and can be found in many towns and cities across the globe. Traditionally,Otulu is an autonomous community and the current leader is HRH Eze (Hon) F.I Orji(JP) Duruiheoma v,Obi Of Otulu.
