Oshnavieh (Persian: اشنويه; Kurdish:'اشنۆ'شنۆ'شنه; also Romanized as Oshnavīyeh, Oshnooyeh, Ashnooyeh, Oshnovīeh, Oshnovīyeh, and Ushnūīyeh; also known as Ushnū)[1] is a small town in West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,896, in 1,572 families.[2]
