Oreonectes is a genus of stone loach endemic to Asia.[1] O. platycephalus is a relatively widespread species from fast-flowing streams in China (including Hong Kong) and Vietnam, but the remaining are all cave-dwellers restricted to Guangxi and Guizhou.[2][3]
