Ongole Assembly constituency is a constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is one among 12 constituencies in the Prakasham district.Damacharla Janardan Rao (tdp) won the seat in 2014 elections. INC won the seat for 7 times, TDP 4 times, 2 times by Independents, once by YSRCP .

It is part of the Ongole Lok Sabha constituency along with another six Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, Yerragondapalem, Darsi, Kondapi, Markapuram, Giddalur and Kanigiri in Prakasam district.
