Once Again is a Philippine romantic drama series aired by GMA Network starring Janine Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica.[1] It is set to premiere on May 2, 2016 replacing That's My Amboy on GMA Telebabad block, and also aired worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.[2]

This serves as the reunion project for Abrenica and Gutierrez after Dangwa in 2015, for Abrenica, Garcia, Romero, Rivero, and Tolentino after The Half Sisters in 2014, Garcia and Romero in Impostora and Dyesebel, for Gonzales and Tolentino after Pyra: Ang Babaeng Apoy in 2013, and for Gonzales and Diaz after Destiny Rose in 2015.[3] This is also the first teleserye of Barro, Al-Alawi and da Silva after StarStruck. The series concluded its 12-week run on July 22, 2016 with a total of 59 episodes and replaced by a Korean drama Descendants of the Sun.

Plot

A tale of two people who fell in love with each other despite being in two different social classes. Reign, a rich girl and Edgar, a meek baker. Reign's family will arrange her marriage to Lukas, an elite bachelor in town. But Reign prefers Edgar more than Lukas.

As Edgar and Reign fight their way through the tussle, everything seemed to spiral down to a horrifying end when two lovers lose their lives because of Lukas. Edgar died due to drowning and Reign, due to her head hitting a rock.

But when everything seems lost, the two meet each other again after twenty years in a different era, and elsewhere as two different people but both still having the same strong love for each other as usual. With the phenomenon of reincarnation, Reign now lives by Des and Edgar by Aldrin.
