Werner Omar Martinez Quesada (born Trujillo, 1955) is a Peruvian lawyer and politician. Member of the APRA,[1] is its Secretary General since 2010 with Jorge del Castillo.
Werner Omar Martinez Quesada was raised in Huanta. From a very young age, he became a member of the Peruvian Aprista Party. He was Mayor of Huanta and in 2003, Governor of the Ayacucho Region. In 2009 he was elected Chief Manager of the Real Estate COFOPRI. The same year, he resigned his office and was elected in 2010 Secretary-General of the Peruvian Aprista Party.
