Olha Freimut

Olha Mykhaylivna Konyk-Freimut (Ukrainian: Ольга Михайлівна Коник-Фреймут) (25 February 1982, Novyi Rozdil, Lviv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) – Ukrainian presenter, journalist and model.


Biography

Olha was born 25 February 1982 in Novyi Rozdil, Lviv Oblast. Father – footballer, her mother – Master of Sports in Swimming. In early childhood, attended the matches involving her father.

She received her master's degree in international journalism at Lviv National University named b Ivan Franco and the City University of London, where she received a diploma "magna cum laude".

Career

Worked as a journalist in the BBC. Filmed in advertising. After ORANGE REVOLUTION returned from London to Kiev, where she got a job in the international department on Channel 5. Later she realised that work of international journalist does not satisfy her. For a time she worked as a journalist in the fashion-program "Breakfast with 1+1".[1]

In 2008, the morning show on 1+1 was closed. About the casting on the morning show at "Novyi Kanal" channel she learned from the producer and journalist Lyudmila Padlevska [2] and after a successful trial was the co-presenter of "Pidyom" with Oleksandr Pedan and Serhiy Prytula. 27 May 2011 released the last broadcast of "Pidyom" in this format.

She writes articles about fashion. In the future, plans to seriously engage in "fashion journalism".[3][4][5] In 2010, the face of a new collection of Ukrainian designer Oksana Karavanskaya.[6]

From June 2011, together with Dima Kolyadenko led the program "Shoumaniya." 4 March 2012 the project was closed.[7]

At the end of August 2011 launched the program "Revizor" in which Olha Freimut checks the quality of the service sector establishments of Ukraine.[8] This show has become one of the most successful projects of "Novyi Kanal" channel in the season 2011/12.[9] On 10 March 2012, together with Serhiy Prytula she leads the show "Who's on top?".[10] In the summer of 2012 led the program ("Kabrioleto") together with Serhiy Prytula and Oleksandr Pedan in which they travel through Ukraine.

In 2011, compiled by the magazine "Focus" rating "30 most successful broadcasters Ukraine" Olha Freimut took 26th place.[11] She has experience in the field of dubbing: the summer of 2011 voiced Smurfette in cartoon "The Smurfs"[12]
