The parrot family Psittaculidae consists of seven subfamilies, the Platycercinae, Psittacellinae, Loriinae, Agapornithinae, Psittaculinae, Coracopsinae, and Psittrichasinae.
This family has been accepted into The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World in 2014,[1] and the IOC World Bird List.
