Mentone Grammar is an independent, Anglican co-educational ELC-12 School in Mentone, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
History
Mentone Grammar has a proud history dating back to the 1920s, when the school began in a local Church of England hall, before moving to its present site in 1923, under new management. After many years of private ownership, Mentone Grammar became an affiliated school of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne in 1957, and to this day remains an Anglican School with an ecumenical outlook.
In 1923 the Correll family's Edwardian, two-storey timber and stucco-rendered house, 'Frogmore' was purchased to become the school and boarding house. It is now the site of the Principal and Managenent Staff.
In 1958, Mentone Grammar became a member of the Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV).
In 2006, Mentone Grammar became co-educational with the introduction of girls to the School, and has since that time enjoyed strong enrolments across all year levels from ELC-12. The School has a strong cadet unit with a proud history.

About the School
Mentone Grammar is known as a progressive, well-supported learning environment with wide-ranging opportunities, facilities, and subjects.
Mentone Grammar is renowned for its successful learning model of Together-Apart-Together, where girls and boys in the Middle Years (5-9) learn within a coeducational environment in gender specific classes. In Early Learning through to Year 4 and in Years 10-12, students learn in a fully coeducational environment.
The extensive cocurricular program complements the Teaching and Learning curriculum. Mentone Grammar has a proud sporting history and is a powerful contender in the AGSV program. Their Coaching Academy provides specialist coaching in a broad range of sports, including a partnership with South Melbourne Football Club.
