Okanagan Hockey Group

Okanagan Hockey Group has been providing hockey instruction to athletes since 1963. The hockey camp is operated by several people who have spent the majority of their lives involved in the game. Combined, the staff has over 50 years of NHL hockey experience.

Through nearly 50 years of operation, Okanagan Hockey Camps have become an International leader in hockey instruction. In Canada, Okanagan Hockey Camps currently operates six locations, including Penticton and Kelowna, British Columbia, St. Pölten, Austria, as well as a partnership with the Edmonton Oilers.

Okanagan Hockey Camps has programs designed for males and female players of all levels from 5-20 years old. There are regular and elite programs offered for players and goaltenders, including specialized programs for skating, power skating, shooting and defense. Okanagan Hockey School is also one of the largest goaltender schools in the world. For the 15+ year old age group, Okanagan Hockey Camps offers a high level Junior / College Prep camp that encompasses everything needed for young aspiring Junior hockey players to progress to higher levels.

The Okanagan Hockey Group also operates the Okanagan Hockey Academy, which is a year-round program based out of Penticton that plays in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. The OHA is a public-private partnership with Penticton Secondary School and is operated out of the South Okanagan Events Centre.[1]

In addition to Okanagan Hockey Camps and Okanagan Hockey Academy, Okanagan Hockey Group is also in a partnership with the Western Hockey League in their WHL Combines program.[2]
