Office Of The President (राष्ट्रपतिको कार्यालय) is the official office of the president of Nepal. [[1] Sital Niwas is official presidential palace of Nepal of Nepal located in Maharajganj, Kathmandu. Built by Rana Prime minister Chandra Shamsher for his son Krishna Shamsher in 1923 it was handed over by Krishna Shamsher Rana, a Rana aristocrat, to the Government of Nepal in 1961. Formerly the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this building is also known as Shital Niwas and is located adjacent to Central Investigation Bureau(CIB) headquarters and a military barrack. The government of Nepal decided to make Shital Niwas the presidential residence at a cabinet meeting on July 4, 2008. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, the incumbent President of Nepal, currently resides in this palace. [[2]
