The Odisha Legislative Assembly election of 2014 was held in April 2014, concurrently with the Indian general election, 2014.[2][3] The elections were held in the state in the first (10-Apr-2014) and second (17-Apr-2014) phases.[4] The results were declared on 16 May 2014.[5]
The ruling party, Biju Janata Dal gained majority, and incumbent Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik once again took oath as Chief Minister.[6]
