Odisha Diary is an online news platform focused on news and views from Odisha, an eastern Indian state. The website was launched in 2005. The website is recognized by the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Odisha as a media platform[1]

History

Journalist Rashmi Ranjan Parida established Odisha Diary in 2005 in order to provide one stop online platform for news and views on his native state of Odisha.[2] Other Founding members are Prachee Naik, Ranjan Parida, Kamala Kanta Dash, Pradeep Baisakh. The team has created two more platforms for meaningful engagement on the issues of Odisha. Odisha Living Legend Award was launched in 2011 and Kalinga Literary Festival in 2014.

Awards

Odisha Living Legend Award

Odisha Living Legend Awards acknowledges and honours great contributions to the state of Odisha. In last six year leading names of the state of Odisha have been honoured with Living Legend Awards,[3][4]

Youth Inspiration Award

Youth Inspiration Award was launched in 2012 to provide a single platform to the youth to learn from the Living Legend Awardees[5]

Kalinga Literary Festival

Kalinga Literary Festival was launched in 2014.
