Octavian Armașu (born 29 July 1969 in Chișinău) is a Moldovan politician who currently serves as Minister of Finances of Moldova since January 2016, succeding Anatol Arapu at this post.

Previously, Armașu worked since 1996 in the private economics sector, at a few companies in Moldova.

On 30 September 2016, a Moldovan civic activist, Andrei Donică, spilled a bucket of milk over Octavian Armașu, reproaching him the actions done by the government in case of $1 billion fraud.[1][2]

Octavian Armașu is married and has two children.
