Octavia Yati (born October 20, 1954 in Jakarta, Indonesia) is an Indonesian actress. She mainly plays in dramas and romantic films.[1]
She is married to an actor and has four sons, one from a previous marriage to a man, who has since died.
She started her film career at a very young age. One of Yati's earliet roles was Brandal – Brandal Metropilitan. In 1977 she played in the movies Akibat Pergaulan Bebas and Ali Topan Anak Jalanan. Yati became one of the best-paid actresses, earning Rp5 million, which was very big at that time.
