Novato Advance

Novato Advance is a weekly newspaper in Novato, California.

The paper was first published in 1922, by the privately owned Scripps Enterprises. In 2008, the publisher announced that it would cease publishing the paper because it had not been profitable since 1999, but at the last minute, it was purchased by Marinscope Newspapers, , a chain of weekly newspapers.

In 2008, it had 17 employees and 8700 people subscribed to the paper.
