Nossa Senhora da Conceição church (Portuguese for Our Lady of Conception) is a church southwest of the center of Povoação Velha on the island of Boa Vista, Cape Verde.,[1][2] it is located on the west foot of Rocha Estância[3]

It was constructed in 1828, located near the foundations of an earlier chapel dated to 1680.[1]

The exterior is colored white and has colonial architecture, light brown roofs and a tourmaline doors and windows. In the interior, it has a chair painted in a colorful form, the altar features numerous small images of saints.[2]

Each year on December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated and forms one of the major religious celebrations on the island.[4]
