Norwegian Air Argentina is an Argentinian airline owned by Norwegian Air Shuttle. The airline plans to operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with bases in Buenos Aires, Córdoba and possibly Mendoza. All aircraft will be registered in Argentina.[1]

History

Norwegian Air Argentina was established on 25 January 2017, in order to access future traffic rights to and from Argentina and South America for the parent company. The airline plans to be awarded its own air operator's certificate (AOC); and have its own IATA and ICAO airline codes; with the intention of commencing operations in Argentina in late 2017.
